I’m so happy to announce that I have secured two dates to bring you my ‘Story Sessions’ one day workshop, straight out of Lancashire in the Ribble Valley. The venue is The Chimney Room at Holmes Mill, Greenacre St, Clitheroe.
If you don’t know Holmes Mill it’s a great wedding venue and also a brewery with the longest bar in Europe!
So, what does the workshop include?

I will be sharing everything about my approach and how I photograph each part of the wedding day. You can shout out with questions - I want you to get as much from the day as possible.
How I visualise, compose and use light to make impactful story telling images.
Curating images for website and awards,
There will also be time to critique your work
Possibly a mince pie for the December workshop

I’ll also be sticking around afterwards for drinks and answer any of your questions (they have a ‘drink it dry’ offer on some beers on Monday - just saying). In my opinion the social side afterwards is as invaluable as the workshop itself!

The cost of the workshop is £300 for the day. This includes tea/coffee and lunch.

1 TO 1 MENTORING FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

I shot my first wedding in 2005 for a mate. I did it for just enough cash to buy a flash that I thought would be essential for the job. I didn’t even have a lens cap for my one and only lens, and kept it safe in the car with a sock over the end. I went full time in 2010, now with two lenses and two lens caps, shooting between 6 and 12 weddings a year. Despite having a vision and just about enough confidence to get by, I didn’t have much idea what I was doing. There weren’t really any workshops back then and I learnt the hard way. I was charging around £800 a wedding and working every hour god sends.

Fast forward to the present I have won hundreds awards and been a judge for many too. I am the 2022 & 2021 ‘Story teller of the year’ for ‘This is Reportage’and am also No.1 in the UK & No.2 in the world. I was the NW winner in the 2021 ‘TWIA’ awards and the national runner up and still hold the most lifetime awards for the ‘Masters of UK wedding photography’. I have been fully booked consistently at between £2500-£3000 for the past 8 years.

I will show you everything I know and do at every wedding from the lead up on the day to the dance floor, but in particular I will HELP YOU TAKE BETTER STORY TELLING IMAGES. We will have regular structured chats either online or in person if you’re nearby, critique and curate your work, help you find your style and attract your ideal couples. I will assist you at a wedding and you can see how I work at one of mine (Diary depending and only on 6 & 12 month mentoring)
